Maybe it\u2019s a browser tab that decided to stop responding or a game that\u2019s taking up a bit too much of your computer&#8217;s resources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Usually, when that happens, the little &#8220;X&#8221; in the corner does nothing. We\u2019ve all been taught to open the Task Manager, find the culprit, and right-click on it and choose End Task to shut it down. It works, but it\u2019s not quick and easy, is it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Well, I stumbled across a little surprise today that makes Windows life just a little bit easier!<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The &#8220;Two-Click&#8221; Solution to a Frozen Program<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"citation-127 citation-end-127\">Microsoft has added a smart new feature that lets you &#8220;End Task&#8221; right from your taskbar.<\/span> No more hunting through the Task Manager. If an app is acting up, you just:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-path-to-node=\"9\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Right-click<\/b> the app&#8217;s icon on your taskbar.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Click <b data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"6\">End Task<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2026\/et2.png\" alt=\"How to end a frozen program in 2 clicks - Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"353\" height=\"425\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">And just like that, the stubborn program is gone!<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>How to Turn It On<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">This feature might not be turned on by default on your computer yet. I\u2019m not sure exactly which update brought it to my computer, but I\u2019m glad it\u2019s here. If you don&#8217;t see the option when you right-click, here is how you can enable it:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"13\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Open the Settings app (click your Start button and then the little gear icon).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Go to <b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"6\">System<\/b> and then click on <b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"31\">Advanced<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Look for the toggle that says <b data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"30\">&#8220;Enable end task in taskbar by right click&#8221;<\/b> and switch it to <b data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"91\">On<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2026\/et.png\" alt=\"End a Frozen Program in 2 Clicks...
