\nThanks Kathy. It’s not a search bar — it’s search engine \/ search site. It’s called\u00a0www.duckduckgo.com<\/a>\u00a0. It uses Google’s search algorithms without the tracking or the ads. It is a very simple page which provides excellent search results. Hope this helps you find the Duck.<\/p>\n

You’ll notice a drop-down arrow on the left side of the search form. It’s called “!Bang” And here’s what the Duck says !Bang is:<\/p>\n

DuckDuckGo enables you to search 100s of other sites directly.
\nJust use this dropdown next to the search box. As you use it, your most frequented sites will automatically be displayed at the top.
\nOr you can type in a command like ‘!amazon bags’, which will take you to Amazon.com and auto-search it for ‘bags’.
\nWe call these commands !bangs, and this syntax works for 100s of sites:
\nMost big sites work, e.g. !youtube (see full list below)
\nMost generic keywords work too, e.g. !images
\nThere are also shorter versions, e.g. !g (google) !i (images) !yt (youtube)
\n!ducky or ‘! ‘ or ‘\\’ will take you to the first result.
