Are you getting emails from someone you’d rather not receive emails from? Well, you could mark one message as spam, and then everything else from that sender would be forever placed in your spam folder, out of sight and out of mind. But then, you’d either have to wait for Google to clean your spam folder periodically – at whatever interval they decide – or you’d have to manually clean your spam folder whenever.<\/p>\n
Here’s a way to block a sender and have the email sent right to trash – out of sight, out of mind, forever. Gone forever too.<\/p>\n
1. In Gmail, click the “Create a filter” link near the top of any Gmail mailbox.<\/p>\n
2. Type the email address you want to block under From:.<\/p>\n
3. Examples: If you want to block emails from an entire domain, you can do that too. If you wanted to block a message from hirohiro@youbetchacom, you’d enter that. If you wanted to block all mail from youbetcha.com, you’d enter “@youbetcha.com”.
