Jacqueline would like to colorize a special black and white photo
\n<\/strong>My Dad will be turning 89 in October. My Mom gave me a picture of my Dad and several of his WWII Navy buddies. Dad looks so adorable. But my Mom asked me to see if I could colorize the picture without making it look fake. Any program you could recommend for me to try is greatly appreciated. Thanks for all you do for us. I’ve donated to your cause a couple of times and hope you all are starting to climb out of the soup.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Thanks so much, Jacqueline. We’re not out of the soup yet, but we’re treading water — at least we’re not sinking! We didn’t have a lot of time to find a good answer for you, but we did do a little preliminary testing of a program that looks like it will do the job for you and it’s easy to use. They have tutorials online and the program seems to work well. It’s not free though, it’s $29. But they do offer a 21-day free trial so you can give it a try and see if you can make give that old black and white photo some color and pizazz! The program is called Recolored and it works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 (we didn’t test it on Windows 8, but it should work fine).<\/p>\n
