We use them all the time. They&#8217;re quick, easy to learn, easy to use, and kind of make you feel warm and geeky.<\/p>\n<p>To use a RUN command just press and hold down the Windows Key, press the R key and type in any one of the following commands. After you type the command, press Enter to execute it:<\/p>\n<p>CALC<\/p>\n<p>Opens calculator.<\/p>\n<p>WMPLAYER<\/p>\n<p>Opens Windows Media Player<\/p>\n<p>WRITE<\/p>\n<p>Opens WordPad<\/p>\n<p>MSPAINT<\/p>\n<p>Opens MS Paint (duh!)<\/p>\n<p>MSINFO32<\/p>\n<p>Opens System Information (and yes it&#8217;s the same for 64-bit systems)<\/p>\n<p>NOTEPAD<\/p>\n<p>Opens Notepad<\/p>\n<p>SERVICES.MSC<\/p>\n<p>Opens Services. Allows you to manage all services running on your computer.<\/p>\n<p>DEVMGMT.MSC<\/p>\n<p>Opens Device Manager<\/p>\n<p>CMD<\/p>\n<p>Opens a Windows Command Prompt Window ( the erstwhile DOS window)<\/p>\n<p>OSK<\/p>\n<p>Opens the Windows On-screen Keyboard<\/p>\n<p>REGEDIT<\/p>\n<p>Opens the Windows Registry Editor.<\/p>\n<p>Now go run, it&#8217;s fun!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUN commands are quick and easy ways to access certain Windows features.
