Today at 9 a.m. ET, everyone in the U.S. will be able to buy Google Glass."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<h3>Google Glass Today Becomes Available to Everyone: How to Buy It<\/h3>\n<h4>&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<h4>Today at 9 a.m. ET, everyone in the U.S. will be able to buy<a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/topics\/google-glass\/\">Google Glass<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<p>Google announced the plan <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2014\/04\/10\/google-expands-glass-explorer\/\">last week<\/a>. &#8220;Every day, we get requests from those of you who haven\u2019t found a way into the program yet, and we want your feedback too,&#8221; the company wrote in a <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/u\/0\/+GoogleGlass\/posts\/HaUCDHtRvcn\">blog post<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>See also: <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2014\/04\/01\/google-glass-public-image\/\">How Google Fumbled Glass \u2014 and How to Save It<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Google Glass is not commercially available yet; it&#8217;s been available only to Google Glass Explorers \u2014 in other words, only through a very limited beta-testing program. <\/p>\n<p>Now, Google is opening up the program and folks in the U.S. will be able to get the Glass for $1500 + tax. Google has apologized to everyone else, saying it&#8217;s &#8220;just not ready yet to bring Glass to other countries.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The price is steep, but at least Google will <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2014\/01\/28\/google-glass-new-frames-prescription-lenses\/\">throw in frames<\/a> or a shade of your choice. <\/p>\n<p>To get the Glass, you need to be 18 years old, and you need to be a U.S. resident with a U.S. shipping address. Then, go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/glass\/start\/how-to-get-one\/\">this address<\/a> today, April 15, at 9am ET.
