But now I have a new computer with Windows 8 and I don&#8217;t have that feature. My question is does Windows 8 have that feature and if it does how do I turn it on? Windows 8 has the checkbox feature too.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how to turn on the checkboxes features in Windows 8.x:<\/p>\n<p>1. Open Windows Explorer (Press the Windows key + E)<\/p>\n<p>2. Click on the View on the Windows Explorer Ribbon (toolbar).<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span class=\"auto-style54\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style59\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2014\/win8-checkboxs.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"600\" height=\"261\" \/><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. Check the box next to &#8220;Item check boxes&#8221;. (See image above.)<\/p>\n<p>4. Close Windows Explorer<\/p>\n<p>You should now see check boxes at the top-left of a folder whenever you hover over it. There you go!
