It is thought that the Windows 9 is going to be released relatively soon because of the poor performance of Windows 8. Windows 8 was supposed to be innovative in that it attempted to bring together desktop and mobile on one platform, but Windows 8 can\u2019t be considered a global success by any means.<\/p>\n

Full details of the launch of Windows 9 remain unclear at the time of writing, but some information of the new Windows system have been leaked on the Internet and it seems that there will be some key changes.<\/p>\n

First of all, the traditional \u201cstart\u201d menu that Microsoft users will be familiar with is set to make a return. Windows 8 was the first Microsoft model to not include the start menu, and its exclusion wasn\u2019t well received by many consumers.<\/p>\n

According to the screenshots that have been shown on sites such as Myce.com and Neowin, Windows 9 will give computer users their first chance to see the new Windows store.<\/p>\n

Apps<\/b><\/p>\n

Apps have become an important part of people\u2019s everyday lives so it seems fitting that Windows 9 will have plenty of apps to choose from. There is speculation that there will be plenty more apps included in the new version of Windows.<\/p>\n

Pricing<\/b><\/p>\n

As yet there is no information on pricing for the new Windows 9. However, there have been some rumors that Windows 9 might be offered as a free upgrade. It is still not clear whether consumers will be able to upgrade to Windows 9 by buying it as a standalone product.<\/p>\n

However, there is likely to be some effort to reduce pricing for this new version as Microsoft needs to compete with the more affordably priced mobile platforms.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
