Can you please cancel our service?<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: inherit;\">Rep:<\/strong>\u00a0Okay, but I\u2019m trying to help you.<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: inherit;\">Block:<\/strong>\u00a0The way you can help me is by disconnecting my service.<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: inherit;\">Rep:<\/strong>\u00a0But how is that helping you? How is that helping you? Explain to me how that is helping you.<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: inherit;\">Block:<\/strong>\u00a0Because that\u2019s what I want.<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: inherit;\">Rep:<\/strong>\u00a0Okay, so why is that what you want?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit;\">Block\u00a0<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit; color: #990000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2014\/7\/15\/5901057\/comcast-call-cancel-service-ryan-block\">posted a recording<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0of the call online, where it has been listened to more than 5 million times. During the ensuing media frenzy,\u00a0<em style=\"font-weight: inherit; font-style: italic;\">The Verge\u00a0<\/em><a style=\"font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit; color: #990000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2014\/7\/18\/5913803\/dear-comcast-employees-wed-like-to-talk-to-you\">put out a call<\/a>\u00a0and sought out current and former Comcast employees, hoping to shed light on the inner workings of the largest broadcasting and cable company in the country.
