Here are the sounds you can use to do that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rain<\/strong> \u2013 exactly what you\u2019d expect, the soothing sound of rain falling.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thunderstorm<\/strong> \u2013 softer rain sounds, but with occasional thunder.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wind<\/strong> \u2013 feels like something\u2019s coming this way, which for some reason makes me want to work.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Forest<\/strong> \u2013 mostly bird songs, but there are some other sounds mixed in there.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leaves<\/strong> \u2013 the rustling of leaves, sounds like autumn.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Water stream<\/strong> \u2013 a nearby babbling brook.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Seaside<\/strong> \u2013 rhythmic waves, with a hint of seaside birds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Water<\/strong> \u2013 more subdued water sounds, almost like something\u2019s swimming in a nearby pond.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bonfire<\/strong> \u2013 if that campfire sound relaxes you, try this.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Summer night<\/strong> \u2013 lots of crickets, the occasional owl, and more.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coffee shop<\/strong> \u2013 mingled conversation, but nothing you can make out, along with the sounds of coffee being made.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Train night<\/strong> \u2013 something about the sound of wheels on rails is very relaxing. It\u2019s probably the rhythm.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fan shop<\/strong> \u2013 this is pretty close to white noise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are also a few <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Colors_of_noise#Technical_definitions\">colours of noise<\/a> to choose from. These are basically steady sources of sound, so try them out.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>White noise<\/li>\n<li>Pink noise<\/li>\n<li>Brown noise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some people swear by one of these three sounds and decry the others; I\u2019m not going to make a comment. Try them out for yourself.<\/p>\n<h2>Comes With A Lightweight Writing App<\/h2>\n<p>If you want to get some writing done, Noisli might be the only website you need to have open.
