Both of us want to take time out from our Thanksgiving day to wish you and your family a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving and a very special Thanksgiving weekend.<\/p>\n
We know that some of you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving on this day, but we want you to know that no matter where you live in this increasingly smaller world, we are both very grateful for you.<\/p>\n
And whether you celebrated Thanksgiving today or not, one common experience we all share at this time of year is reflection. It’s the time of year when we look back on the year past and on years long ago and remember the experiences that made us what we are today.<\/p>\n
Some of us have been lucky and some of us less fortunate – but all of us have many things we can be thankful for. Whether you are one of the lucky ones or one of the less fortunate ones, \u00a0we all should be thankful. As the Roman philosopher Seneca said: \u201cWhat difference does it make how much you have? What you do not have amounts to much more.\u201d<\/em> \u00a0 What we have does not come close to what we don’t have, so we should be thankful for what we do have. \u00a0We all have much more than we think we have.<\/p>\n On this cold and cloudy Thanksgiving day here in the North of North America we are fortunate that we have the love our family and the kindness of our friends to be thankful.<\/p>\n To all of you – we consider you friends. And we are very thankful for your support and your words of encouragement.<\/p>\n Whether you celebrated Thanksgiving today or not, we want you to know: We are very thankful for you.
