If you’re using Window 8x or Windows 10 and you are relying on the built-in Windows Defender to protect you, you’re in for a shock – you’re basically unprotected. Yes having Windows Defender running is better than nothing but barely.<\/p>\n

Windows Defender is exactly the same program as Microsoft Security Essentials. So if you’re running Windows 7 or an older version of Windows and you are using Microsoft Security Essentials you’re basically unprotected too.<\/p>\n
