It’s a Whole ‘Nother Calculator-

Windows 7 ‘s Calculator

Of course you can use Windows 7’s Calculator to do simple calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; but Calculator also offers the advanced capabilities of a programming, scientific, and statistical calculator too.

It has a unit of measure converter which includes angle, area, energy, length, power, pressure, temp, time, velocity, volume, weight and mass.

It even calculates fuel economy, lease or mortgage payments, and a lot more. If you’re a scientific mathematics type, you can even do whatever it is that advanced math types do. I think.

Definitely a great calculator. I’d be much happier with it if the scientific calc re the “volume” would go one step further and include amounts smaller than a pint i.e., cups, teaspoon and tablespoon — so I could convert recipes. After all, cooking is really scientific experiments in chemistry. Right?

    Hi,
    Just saying! 5 cubic centimeters (5mls) = 1 standard teaspoon, 10 cubic centimeters = 1 standard dessertspoon, 20 cubic centimeters = 1 standard tablespoon, 250 cubic centimeters = 1 standard cup.
That’s all too scientific for me, just try a pinch of this, a shake of that, and a slosh of whatever, just so-long as you don’t get hold of the wrong jar!! Maybe, be wary of those standard cups and spoons you have around the place too!!
    Just saying you know!

It seems like, at my age, the only mathematical calculations I do now is deduct from my checkbook balance and add to my weight. Therefore, the Windows 7 calculator is all I need these days.

Well, you have once again enlightened me – I tells ya! 😉 I always knew there was a calculator with Windows 7, but I was not aware of all the neat stuff you can do with it. The calculator is now “pinned” to my Task Bar for easy access! Thanks so VERY much for all the informative and educational information you put out there for all of us. Keep it coming!
