It’s Saturday and Time for Another Optical Illusion

Many of you seem to like optical illusions. So, we found another one we’d like to share with you. Enjoy!

More about this optical illusion…

Japanese artist jagarikin has created an optical illusion that makes it appear as though a pair of cubes are rotating and moving from side to side when, actually, they are not moving at all.

The boxes appear to be spinning as the background alternates from white to black, while the arrows inside the cubes appear to be controlling the movement.

If you really believe the boxes are move, put your finger or your cursor over any of the lines that make up the boxes. You’ll see that the boxes are not moving at all.

This illusion is a reminder that our senses are limited and are quite easily fooled.

And one more thing… be careful! Don’t stare at this illusion too long… if you do it can be disorienting.

    Hi TC & Darcy,
That is an excellent illusion, thanks also to jagarikin.
I discovered that blinking quickly non-stop keeps the cubes stationary.

    Thank You 🙂
