New and Improved! Voice Typing with Automatic Punctuation
Windows 11 now features an amazingly accurate, AI-powered voice-to-text dictation engine that automatically handles punctuation.
What it does
Dictates text into any text field (Word documents, browser forms, messaging apps) and listens for natural pauses to insert commas, periods, and question marks automatically.
How to use it
Click into any text box and press Win + H. Click the Gear icon on the microphone pop-up bar and ensure Automatic punctuation is toggled ON. Click the microphone and start speaking!
Open Notepad, Word, or a text editor and try it right now!
Oh, and by the way, Voice Typing also works in some email programs, messaging apps, and in Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Outlook online.

It missed capitalizing the first word I typed. From there it only caught the odd comma and period. I was reading a paragraph from your Newsletter item. The app appears to require more work.
Thanks,
