spy-vs-spyThe edge of the abyss: exposing the NSA’s all-seeing machine

“I know the capability that is there to make tyranny total in America, and we must see to it that this agency and all agencies that possess this technology operate within the law and under proper supervision, so that we never cross over that abyss. That is the abyss from which there is no return.” Senator Frank Church on Meet The Press, 1975

On November 4th, 1952, a new federal agency was created in secret, chartered with spying on foreign adversaries around the world. There was no mention in the press. There was no discussion on the floor of Congress. The existence of the agency appeared nowhere in the Federal Register.

Hmmm! I just read your article on Malware. and then read the material on the NSA. What a match-up. If we could get those “dumb-bunnies” in Washington to at least put a law on the books to make the malware, phishers, etc. illegal. Then the NSA’s “all-seeing machine” should be able to route them all out in no time. I’m sure the NSA must already have, in one of their databases, all the information they need to take action immediately. After all, to them it doesn’t matter what country the servers are in.

The longer it exists the more we are in danger . it is fine to look across the water I have always felt that they did that but to gather information on some poor guy wanting to be left alone is very scary. I wonder why they did not catch the Marathon bomber before they had a chance to do that, they must of known . We need to recognize the enemy yes but so many do not know who they are . This administration will go down in history for sure but I think it will not be very kind .
