Start page announcement

Dear friends,

We’ve temporarily discontinued the Trivia and Cryptogram games. While the number of people using our start page increases slightly every month, the number of people playing the games has decreased. Either people are getting tired of them or just don’t have time for them.

In any case, we wanted you to know that this is temporary. We wanted to ask you for your input. What games would you like to see? Do you miss Trivia and Cryptogram? Would you consider playing these games if we brought them back? If any of you have any suggestions as to how we can make the start page better for you, including new game ideas or new features, please let us know. You can use the reply feature at the bottom of this post to tell us what you think.

Thanks so very much for supporting us by using our start page and for everything else you do fo use. We both appreciate very much.

Best wishes,

TC & EB

I used to play them every day. Even won a couple prizes. Too much going on in my life now, and I’m rarely online. They are good games and I’d like to see them back on so I can play them, when I am able. Thanks…Sheller

I will admit that I was one of the ones that got very busy and wasn’t able to do the Trivia or Cryptogram games for a while, I always make time to read the tips that are posted every day though. I was looking forward to playing gain, so I do hope you bring them back (Trivia for sure). A link to a crossword puzzle might be a good addition as well.

Loved the cryptograms, played everyday. I didn’t submit them though, I had won a couple of times and wanted others to win too. Please bring them back. Was a great way to get the old gray cells working.

Love, Love, LOVE the cryptograms!!! They are something my late mother and I shared since I was a young girl. I looked forward to breaking that code everyday. I’ve really been missing them lately (and told you so!). Prizes aren’t necessary, just please, please, PLEASE bring back the Cryptograms!!!!!

What I really miss is the sudoku that was previously on the Arcade. I dont have time to go looking for it on Over the Hill Arcade.

My first cup of coffee and Trivia was my morning ritual. Please bring it back. I really miss the Arcade as well without having to go into The Hill to find it.
I’ve said it before and will say it again – I would not know my computer as well as I do without the help you two great “friends” provide.
A great big thank you to you both.

I agree that the games were a fun way to pass a few minutes getting the grey matter warmed up. I too seldom submitted my answers, because I either wasn’t sure I was right, or simply didn’t have the time… While prizes are nice, you might want to try it with out any and see how that goes over… I also agree that I really miss sudoku and a crossword link would be nice – though I do have a couple of those bookmarked, it would make life so much simpler if they were all on your start page 😉

    Thanks for all you do!
