I have been trying to get into Smart Upscaler and have had to success.
I too am trying to fix photos of long ago so thought that this might be a good
program to have, but I can’t seem to find anyway in and how to use it.
Hope you can help.

There’s really no instruction I can give you. You open the page, upload an image, or drag the image to the page and upscale it.
