Having Windows Update Problems? Try This Free Utility

If you’re having problems with Windows Updates on Windows 10 or Windows 8.1, we found a free utility, written by Ramesh Kumar and distributed by TheWindowsClub, that you should try. 

Windows Update issues are not as common with Windows 10 as they were in previous versions of Windows, but if your Windows Updates are not working, it can be a difficult problem to diagnose and fix.  According to TheWindowsClub, the Fix WU Utility re-registers  114 .dll,  ocx and .ax files which are required for Windows Updates to work correctly

We are pleased to release the Fix WU Utility. This freeware portable utility will re-register the files, required for the proper functioning of Windows Updates.

Fix Windows Update

In case anytime, you find that you are facing any issues in running Microsoft Updates or Windows Updates due to any reasons, run this utility. This utility will re-register a total of 114 .dll,  ocx and .ax files which are required for the proper functioning of Windows Updates.

The utility may take a few moments to run. On completion, you will see a dialog box: The process completed successfully...

According to The Windows Club, this utility works with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. We have not tested this program since we don’t have access to any computers with current Windows Update issues. But, generally, utilities and programs written by Ramesh Kumar and distributed by TheWindowsClub are safe and reliable. So, if you’re having Windows updates problems, you might want to give the Fix WU Utility a try.

    Hi TC & Darcy,
    Does this fix-it utility prove that Microsoft employees are unable to deliver un-broken updates.
    This is akin to an independent small company repairing faults of new vehicles direct from the production line after being purchased.
    Maybe the people from the Windows Club should manufacture a computer Operating System. 😉
