    Hi TC & EB,

Apowersoft is not a free program. the free part is extremely limited and when one expects to obtain a ‘free’ program the discovery of the complete unrestricted program has to be purchased to be of benefit to the users.
Programs such as Apowersoft should be recommended as having limited use which in reality is a trial and not much use to anyone with limited funds who think that unlimited downloads are free until they are surprised when checking the web site …. just another ‘shareware’ program.

4K Video Downloader – currently $10.00 US dollars.
    4K Video To MP3
    4K YouTube To Mp3
    4K SlideShow Maker
Excellent programs, Pro versions all paid for, lifetime upgrades. , full version, too expensive.

John, I’m not sure how you read our article but we were suggesting the ONLINE video/audio downloader, we were not recommending any programs – or downloads, etc. Did you read the comments from the person we answered?

We tested the online downloader and it worked great and we’ve recommended it to several others. And I will continue to do Nowhere in that article did we mention or recommend Apowersoft’s downloadable programs. We did not do anything other than recommend the ONLINE video/audio downloader which is free and works well.

Keith, who asked this particular question wrote back:” “Hi TC. Thanks for the e-mail and link to Apowersoft. I have checked it out and it works well and is easy to use. Many thanks for the effort you have put in to try and find an MP3 Downloader. You and Darcy are the best! All the best, Keith.”

One more thing. Unless something dramatically changes, we’re never going to recommend a free downloadable program for downloading YouTube videos.

And on another note: I’m far more likely to recommend a $10 downloadable program than free program full of malware, bots, or bundled with useless programs.
