Do you like to listen to music? You don’t? You should. Music calms the savage beast you know. If you don’t like music, you probably don’t like popsicles or babies either – or spring showers or carnations. What kind of person are you? Are you trying to be another EB? JUST KIDDING, folks.
Before we go any further – we’ve been remiss and didn’t post Pandora’s terms. So here we’ve posted them at the end of this article. One of those terms is: “If you live anywhere other than the United States you can’t use Pandora.” So let’s make that clear right up front.
Anywhale, if you like music, you will love this Cloudeight site pick, that lets you create your own radio station playing only the kind of music you like. For instance right now we’re listening to a station that plays only Beatles and music similar to theirs.
Did you know that The Beatles were Britain’s greatest contribution to America since they sent over all that tea – you know the tea we dumped into Boston Harbor. If you send more tea over now, we won’t dump it in Boston Harbor because the environmentalists would be all upset and protest us protesting the tea. It was a much simpler world when you sent the first batch of tea over. Why can’t we all just get along?
No matter what kind of music you like from classical to rap, you’ll find you can create your own radio station playing only what you want to hear.
Despites its name, Pandora isn’t a box filled with nefarious stuff, it’s a box filled with whatever you like. Pandora is not a site that filled with popup ads or annoying blinking banners. It’s a place you can trust to play on the kinds of music you want to hear.
See? I typed in the “tell us what kind of music you want to hear” box “Beatles”. And, I’ll be darned if they didn’t get it right. The first song was “Help” and the second was Elton John’s “Rocket Man” – I guess because he was a British export too? Or because his music is similar? Anyway, you get the idea. If you like Morton Fingersnarp, and if he exists, you probably can get all of Morton’s songs and anything that is similar (which might be a problem since I don’t know anyone similar to Morton Fingersnarp).
What do you like? Classical? New Age? Punk? Pop? 40’s? 50’s? 60’s? 90’s? Rap? Hip-Hop? Sinatra? Eagles? Madonna? Fingersnarp? Whatever you like you can create your own radio station and listen to your favorite kind of music for as long as you like – as often as you like. No registration is required to listen to music or create your own stations. You will have to register (free) if you want to use some of the features like saving the stations you create or sharing stations with friends.
Open a Pandora’s Box of good things – good music – your music – from stations that you create. All free. All safe.
Pandora.com is so good we’ve made it a Cloudeight site pick. If you like music and you like Pandora, you should share it with your friends. Go calm your savage beast right now – visit our Site Of The Week – Pandora.com.
Gotta go, a much younger and happier Paul McCartney is singing “Lovely Rita, meter maid….”.

- You can’t use Pandora to steal music, and you have to listen to it through pandora.com or on a device officially supported by Pandora
Thank you for the daily news items, I’m keeping them all in a folder.
I thought I’d like to try Pandora, but you omitted to mention that it’s only for Americans. They picked up from my IP that I live in New Zealand.
I should have known. We can’t use Playlist either.
Hi: Pandora.com is only good to people inside United States. Thought I should let you know.
I was really excited when I saw your write up for Pandora as I love music – but sadly it’s only available for the US audience and not the UK..yet!
Try “mflow”. Its based in the UK and plays only the albums or songs you select with no advertising. You can flow songs to your account and make playlists named anything you like.
I’ve tried other stations but all play the song you want but also throw in other artists which I don’t care for. Mflow makes its money by selling songs or albums to members.
mflow is not available to users in the USA. Just wanted to make that clear.
I live in the U.S. and it is available here. If you use Google Chrome it is available as an App.
hi folks..mflow is not available in canada either
