Nancy wants to know how to make her taskbar icons smaller on Windows 7 taskbar
I just got a new Windows 7 computer. It’s taking me a while to get used to it, but it’s seems very nice. One thing I don’t like is the huge icons on the taskbar – is there a way to make them smaller, like the ones on my old Windows XP computer? Can you help?

Our Answer
Hi Nancy. It’s easy to change the size of Windows 7’s taskbar icons. We’re going to show you how in 3 easy steps:

1. Right click on windows 7 Start Menu button and select Properties

2. Click the taskbar tab and check the option that says “Use Small Icons”

3. Click Apply – once you’ve clicked “Apply” – you’ll see that all your Taskbar icons are now smaller (see image below).

Enjoy Windows 7 with smaller taskbar icons.
