Thank you, Muriel. That was the link I was referring to at the end of the article. And this time I used your link. I DID see the big golden download button….but only for a flash. By the time the site finished uploading it was gone. Nowhere to be seen!
Not sure what to make of that….but I tried it several times and got the same results.
And thank you, too, for the advice. I am always very careful of what buttons I push….LOL…no pun intended! If only my brother were as careful then maybe I wouldn’t spend so much of my time trying to keep his laptop running. I felt like someone was spying on me and heard me sputtering and the next thing along comes Unchecky…I know it was made just for him!
I’ll have to call him and see what happens when he gets on the site. I sent him the link, but when I couldn’t find the download button I wrote and told him to hold off until I found out what was wrong. So, maybe the problem is just mine, and it will work for him!

You are right. This little program does warn you and that’s the best part,
especially when you’re in a hurry, or having a “bad” day. The only thing I can
add is to ALWAYS READ CAREFULLY. I once almost got caught by a trick. Don’t remember
the exact words, but it said something like. “CHECK if you DO NOT want “whatever”
included in your download. We get in the habit of “unchecking” and then whammy
some creep puts a sneaky reverse on you.
