A Gift from Both of Us to All of You

Merry Christmas!

It’s Christmastime and it’s time for reflection and for remembering all the blessings for which were are so thankful.

Many years ago, we started Cloudeight Stationery. At one time we were among the top 500 websites and we had over 200,000 subscribers to our Cloudeight Stationery Newsletter. After Windows 7 was released Outlook Express/ Windows Mail faded away and gradually, so did our stationery and we almost went with it.

Here we are almost 15 years after the release of Windows 7 and the demise of Outlook Express/Windows Mail. We only have one-tenth of the newsletter subscribers we had then. We lost thousands of subscribers since the decline of the stationery days. But here’s how we look at it – we may have lost thousands of “subscribers” but we gained thousands of friends.

If you subscribe to one or both of our newsletters, you’re not a subscriber, you’re a friend. We are thankful for all of our friends. We a grateful for your friendship, generosity, and support. If it were not for your friendship, generosity, and support, we would have joined the tens of thousands of websites that disappeared from the web over the past twenty -five years.

We try to give back as much as we can. We try hard to promptly answer your computer questions and help as many of you as we can via email at no charge. We’ve kept the prices for our Cloudeight Direct Computer Care services low – and we’ve not raised them in over a decade. We do all we can to help all our friends. We try hard to earn and keep your trust.

We always remember that without you, our small business would have perished long ago.

At this special time of year, we’d like to give all of you a little gift something we hope will brighten your holidays a little more. It’s something we’ve not offered for a while. We’ve been testing it on Windows 10 and Windows 11 for the past several weeks to make sure it works well on all the newest versions of Windows. And we’re happy to say that it does. It’s called the Cloudeight WinterHouse Screen Saver.

The Cloudeight WinterHouse animated screen saver features falling snow and many more user-customizable features…

  • User-configurable Scene and Music Controls.
  • Choose falling snow or a clear winter night complete with shooting stars.
  • Turn door or cabin lights on and watch them gently flicker or turn them off!
  • Smoke swirls from the chimney if you choose.
  • Configure star patterns randomly or based on the time of year.
  • Use in silent mode or choose from three beautiful Christmas songs.
  • Display Time or Date/Time on the active screensaver.

We hope you enjoy our WinterHouse Screen Saver not only during the Christmas season but all winter long.

It works on all versions of Windows, including Windows 10 and Windows 11. If you’re using Windows 8.x, Windows 10, or Windows 11, it’s important that right-click on the WinterHouse Screen Saver installer and choose “Run as administrator” to install it.

We’ve combined our WinterHouse Screen Saver Download and Help pages into one page for your convenience.

Download our WinterHouse ScreenSaver and learn how to install it and how to use all its features here!

A very big thank you to you both from a very old subscriber…96. Will be contacting you soon for my pc clean up and perhaps the installation of the mail program that is much like Outlook Express. You have helped me enormously over the years. This is a very kind gesture on your part. Thank you again and a Blessed Christmas to you both.

I have been with you both since your very beginning, and you did not lose me when the stationary did not work with the “new” windows.
I have tried to support Cloudeight by recommending you and using your many services. Unfortunately at the age of 87, I will continue to support you through your wonderful services.
I will continue to keep you in my prayers that you will continue your success and have a Prosperous NEW YEAR.

Thank you for the beautiful screensaver. Took me awhile to get it but finally figured it out & it’s working great. Came at a good time cause my husband did a roll back on my laptop & I lost all the screensavers I downloaded from you yrs ago. Also smiley cons & folder magic is gone along with many other things. I wasn’t happy but have to admit my laptop is running much better. I had to make shortcuts to several sites as I can’t seem to get the apps back especially for YouTube & google search Shortcuts work. I appreciate all the help ,tips,& tricks you have shared over the yrs. I have learned a lot I have been following you & Darcy for many years Your stationary was awesome. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas & a Happy Healthy New Year.

What a wonderful gift TC and Darcy you have created. As a current Mac user (hopefully to get back being a windows user sometime soon) I am still receiving your newsletters and will never quit ! I have a folder on this computer that is bulging where I save all your emails. I love reading all your essays and getting your hints, technical finds and solutions you write about. So thank you for all your hard work, you saved my bacon many times when I had my old HP and ran into problems! May God bless you both this holiday season and I pray that 2024 will bring many blessings your way.

Thank you so much, TC and Darcy.
What is even more beautiful than the screensaver, are the sentiments you expressed. I really do see you both as friends – you are so much more than an honest, reliable, and caring computer repair service that also offers free advice – just because you care.
You are two angels who help all those in need of your expertise – and you are also a voice in the darkness bringing humor and light into our lives.
My father (may he rest in peace) turned me on to you many years ago and I’ve been following you ever since.
You’ve helped more than once – and not just with your computer skills, but also with your sense of humor that those under 65 might be hard pressed to appreciate or understand (no offense to your younger followers intended).
I look forward to ALL your articles and newsletters like a kid looking forward to the next installment of a Dick Tracy comic in the Sunday papers.
May G-d bless you and keep you – for many many more years to come.
Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy and prosperous New Year!

I downloaded the screen saver and ran it as administrator and left everything on the default settings I didn’t see anything. I went into the settings and changed the amount of snow flakes, then the snow appeared. I have Windows 10, but the only thing I can see are the snowflakes. Nothing else shows. I do have a winter background already showing, so the snow adds to the scene.

I have it installed and working on both a Windows 11 PC and Windows 10 PC and it works fine on both. It may have something to do with your graphics card – but I’ve go no way to tell. All I know is a great many people are using it now without any issues. I’m sorry it doesn’t work correctly for you. Merry Christmas from TC & Darcy

Happy Holidays TC and Darcy! And thank you for all you teach us week after week. I’ve been a subscriber since either 1997 or 1998 and I’ve learned so much throughout the years that has saved me money. I also saved several friends money by being able to clean out their computers of malware they picked up. I wish you both the best in 2024.

    Dear T.C. and Darcy,
Where to start except to say thank you for the wonderful screen-saver gift? I was lucky enough to of had it also approximately two years ago and have loved it ever since so this is a real bonus. I cannot thank you enough for all the years of patience and tolerance you have shown not only to me but I am sure to many of your other followers over the years. Still, miss the wonderful, magical Stationery days. I have now just become a nonagenarian and now lay claim to being in my 91st year so obviously we go back a long way as I joined your establishment almost as soon as it started and have been an avid follower ever since and also a very avid word-of-mouth advertiser. I would like to say a big thank you for your kindness over the years and wish both well for the upcoming Festive Season. A very Merry Christmas and an amazing New Year and hope the little man in the Red suit is good to you both as you certainly deserve it. Take care and stay safe happy holidays.
    Kindest regards,
    Maggie.
