I was really excited when I received your email regarding the printable flyer and printable sheet of 10 business cards. However, to my dismay, I discovered that they were in .doc format. I have a Windows Vista Home Edition computer and do not have a Word software program. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can obtain the flyer and business cards. I would have been one of the first to get them out to the public. Even tried forwarding the email to my husband, but his company blocked the email. Thank you for everything you do! Jaci (aka mouse)
wooow, love you guys…but gwiz..tried to post a forum, tried to post a blog, you have places to fill that I don’t even know what your talking about…tag…what tag?…other issues…couldn’t find the comment block on peoples personal pages…you people have helped me in the past with your tips and tricks….learned lot from you…but having problems with the program…maybe you could make it less complicated…hope I can post this…respectfully, mary…just wanted to thank some people for my birthday wishes….
I have lost my program “Fences” which was a free download in Cloudeight newsletter No. 480 on 10th April, 2011. I would dearly like to download again, can you please send me the link.
I recently signed up to receive ‘Cloudeight InfoAve Daily’, but it’s not what I wanted. I would like to receive mailings about Stationery and that type of thing. Will you please UNsubscribe me from the one now, and sign me up for the other one? Thanks so much. Glena
I am 82 years old, Live in N. Canton OH.
I love learning the computer. I have a Toishba satellate
bought it new in 2005, It has windows xp. It still works
but it has problems. I was wondering if I sent the money do you think it is worth fixing. I have been an off & on customer for many years. Hope to hear from you.

Hi Katherine, it’s kind of hard to say without seeing what kind of processor, how much RAM and what kind of shape the hard drive is in. Also, keep in mind Windows XP’s viable life ends in April 2014 — that’s about 10 months away. If the computer can be upgraded to Windows 7 without too much expense, it might be worth keeping.
However, new computers are selling at all-time low prices. You can get a really nice desktop for around $350 to $400 (4GB RAM /750GB Hard Drive) or a really powerful laptop (which I strongly recommend) for around $450 – $550. If you have to stick $100 into your old computer for a new operating system, and $50 for RAM it may well be that putting that $150 toward a new computer might be your best best.
Just want to thank you so much for taking out ‘all’ my malware. My computer is running a lot faster now as well. You are the greatest. Anyone having a problem contact Cloudeight and get them to fix your computer it is so worth it. I am so lhappy I did this and it is so simple to have it done you just sit and watch maybe answer a few questions when they ask and that is it. Recommend this very highly, do not hesitate to use this. Thanks again you guys are the greatest.
Thanks so much. We’re glad that things are working well for you now. If anyone is interested in having us fix their computer or do a deep malware / badware cleaning, visit http://thundercloud.net/direct/ .
I switched internet providers and have a new e-mail address (@gmail.com) as above. I can’t find instructions on how to use your stationery with a gmail account. Is there some simple instructions like there was with Outlook Express?
The only way to use stationery with Gmail is to set up your gmail account in your Outlook Express or Windows Mail email program. Instructions for setting up Gmail accounts in Outlook Express and Windows Mail (as well as other mail clients) can be found on Gmail’s site.
I have Vista now but have upgraded to windows 8. I used Outlook express for your stationery. Can I use your stationery in windows 8 ? I love your stationeries. Thank you
No you can’t – we can set up Windows Mail in Windows 8 and then you can use stationery in Windows 8. Windows 8 has only a rudimentary mail app. More info about our Windows Mail Set-up for Windows 7 and Windows 8 (and Windows 8.1)
I have Kaspersky anti-virus. I wish to change to Microsoft Security Essentials. What must I do as far as getting completely rid of Kaspersky, on my computer, before I can install MSE?
I have been getting your newsletters for several years now…and have always tried to listen to your advice…hope you can help qwzhere..
I have incredimail…I would LOVE to uninstall it…but have NO idea HOW to SAVE my “extra” folders…I have things like online bill pay notices in one and recipes in another…is there any way I can “save them” to install somewhere else on my computer…I want to use Thunderbird as my mail program..
Thanks for any help!
IncrediMail intentionally tries to make it difficult to save your folders. You can export your messages to .eml files and then drag them into a mail client which support .eml files.
Keep in mind that Thunderbird is resource hungry and is no longer being developed. If you want to use stationery you should use Outlook Express (XP), Windows Mail on Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Windows 7 and requires a bit of expertise in getting it to run on those operating system, but there are tutorials on the web that show you how to do — if you have the correct files. We also offer a service (not free because we not only set up Windows Mail on Win 7 and 8, we also set up mail accounts, import contacts, and can assist you with extracting messages (but not folders) from IncrediMail.
If you use Thunderbird because you want to use stationery you will find its functionality is limited and the program very hungry for system resources. If you don’t care about using stationery, EM Client is a much better email client than Thunderbird.
DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN EXCELLENT SPELL CHECKER, NOT MICROSOFT’S WORD, NOR IT’S OTHER PROGRAMS, BUT A BETTER ONE:
I DO A LOT OF EMAIL EVERY DAY FROM 1,000, TO 5,000 TO FRIENDS AROUND THE GLOBE, BUT SPELL CHECKERS ARE VERY SLOW:
ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A BETTER PROGRAM?
I HAVE ADOBE, AIR, AND INCREDIBLE MAIL 2.5 BUT STILL THE SPELL CHECKER IS SLOW OR DOESN’T CORRECT ALL MISSPELLED WORDS: ANY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL ME, OK!

Not only does Emsisoft work great but when I contacted them to see if they would make the Sticky Password and Cyberghost

I wish to know your opinion of “Stopzilla”. Have read reviews – at least as many bad as not bad, am close to someone who LOVES it, and, though I know you tout Emsisoft as the greatest thing since sliced bread, I am wondering, is Stopzilla as good? I am dealing with my second instance of Conduit in two weeks! Thank you for your good (and usually followed) advice.
I used the Restore method of which you wrote in 2011 re: Remove rouge security programs”. I am trying to remove VGrabber before it is downloaded. But it has grabbed me, I think. My screen says that the System Restore is restoring the registry. It has been doing this for over 45 minutes. My arrow will not appear, so I cannot right click or left click . How can I get rid of this continual “restoring the registry”?
Thank you,
Rose
I just read on your “flip-flop” article that you are no longer recommending Microsoft Security Essentials… I must have missed when you made that recommendation…I have Emsisoft now on all my computers, so can I uninstall MSE?
We stopped recommending it a month ago. About 2 weeks ago Microsoft stopped recommending people rely on it (and Defender in Windows 8). You can uninstall MSE.
I have just had your emsisoft installed after hassles with hotmail again,as Mcafee didnt seem enough. Also, I have now changed my email address toa gmail account. However, my accounts i think are linked in google+ somehow and I am getting copy emails sent to hotmail. Since I dont want to get rid of the hotmail account just yet, how can I stop messages going to both accounts?
Tks
I thought you had a write up of hidemyIP…. was I wrong and if so, which one would you suggest is the best to download. Are they free or costly. Thanks.
I have been a subscriber for quite a few years, I have changed to an Apple Mac. Will the smiley cons work here? Will the other programs sthat you recumbent work on the Mac. I have gained so much from you and I hope that I can continue. Also can you install windows live mail on the Mac? Thanks
I want to buy Emsisoft but there is only one computer in our home. If I get 3 for the price of one do these 2 other Emsisoft have to be used in our home or can they be used for other family members not living in our home?
Thank you in advance for your help.
I have read many people with this same question on the Internet, but have not found an answer. For some unknown reason, Google Chrome has become inaccessible, with the option to kill the file or wait. With the help of a family member with good intentions, I’m not sure what has caused this. Possibilities are: the automatic Windows 8 Upgrade, the help of Emsisoft Anti-Malware, or a programs that scanned my hard drive, installed by the “willing helper” (I don’t recall the name of that software). If it is too difficult to give me an answer, I will book a session with you so that you can have a look at my computer. I have received wonderful help from both of you in the past, so have no hesitation. Just thought there may be something I could so to solve my problem. I know it is a busy time for you.
I would strongly suggest that you let these good people to do their thing with Cloudeight Computer Care. It’s worth it believe me, along with a number of others
Hi there, I have just received your latest Cloud Eight news letter about the stationery not working In windows 7. My tech. activated windows mail- apparently it is in the windows 7 programme but is not activated. It works fine now and I can use your beautiful stationery once again. Thank you,
Barb
Windows Mail on Windows 7 works but there are some kinds of common emails – especially with Web content that will make it crash. It gets worse and worse as Microsoft includes more and more things in updates that interfere with Windows Mail.
Your “tech” is wrong, however. Windows Mail is not included in Windows 7, the folder for Windows Mail and the executable is there but it’s deactivated and will not run on Windows 7. Your “tech” had to load some files from Vista on Windows 7 to actually make it work. The Windows Mail you’re using is not the Windows Mail that ships with Windows 7.
Windows Mail is also included on Windows 8, in a deactivated state.
It made us wonder, many times, what the purpose of including something that didn’t work. We don’t know but it seems they were waiting for an outcry from users that never came. Now of course, MS has bigger fish to fry with Windows 8 and all the controversy surrounding it.
Many folks, including EB and I continue to use Windows Mail on Windows 7 and Windows 8 despite the frequent crashes. It’s just too bad that not enough people demanded that Microsoft include a real email program with Windows. The best we got from MS on Windows 8 was a silly, almost useless, email app which they have the nerve to call “Windows Mail”.
I have been advised by Driver Update by Slimware Utilities Inc. that I have 17 Drivers out of date. I’m a little leary to update the selected Drivers. What do you folks recommend? Also I now have a recommended, by you folks, a spell check “Tiny Spell”
I just tried four times to purchase your Emsisoft (2 for 1) sale.
Everytime I press the purchase button I get an error message telling me that some required information is missing.
It looks pretty good to these old eyes, how do I get my order in ???

I have my notice my Windows 10 is ready to download. I would like to do it the night before you will be ready to hook up with me and see if everything is ok. The reason is I don’t think I want one or two of the programs they have in windows 10 on my computer and you can help me decide.
So if we can set a time that would be great for me. I have no plans on my end.
Thank you
