What Browser(s) Do You Use?

Every so often, we like to check to see what you’re up to and what your favorite programs are. There’s no program, or “app” — in the current vernacular — we use or rely on more than our Web browser(s). Things change. For instance, Microsoft Edge claims to be the world’s fastest, safest browser. Is it? Well, there’s no one text that can prove if it is or isn’t, but Edge has been greatly improved.  Has it been changed enough to make you changed your mind, or are most of you still using Chrome as you voted in our last browser poll in July 2015.

So, today, we’re asking you to tell us what browser(s) do you use?

Tor is most well-known for furtive web browsing and accessing the “Dark Web”. I have tried it several times, and I was never impressed. If someone wants to hide their identity on the web or access the Dark Web, then Tor would be a good choice. Tor uses second-generation onion routing that enables users to communicate anonymously on the Internet. Tor, in fact, is an acronym for The Onion Router.

If you want to try it, go ahead. Tor (I believe) is still built upon Mozilla Firefox.

I switch between Firefox and Chrome because I can’t seem to get rid of the ads on Chrome and I can’t watch some videos on Firefox. I feel safemore private on Firefox.

I have a Mac AirBook, & use Safari . I do miss the stationary program that I used when I had Internet Explorer.

I use Firefox as default now. I have for a while. I just kept using Chrome less and less.
I just kept going back and forth until I had Firefox set up the way I liked it. I did my other computer the same way.

I use three of them, Edge, Chrome and Internet Explorer. I mostly use Chrome but I am getting to the point where I will go back to Firefox which I also have but I think I will use that and delete Chrome, Sometimes Chrome freezes and sometimes I.E. does too and I am not overly fond of Edge.
